LOBO: My Last Film. LE LOUP: Mon Derniere Film. EL LOBO: Mi Ultimo Film

Posted on October 24, 2013 byFelt Theater

“Lobo”  (Wolf)  is a short film that I was part of it this summer. It deals with a family of Santeras. I play Abuela one of the leads in the film. We had three very intense days of shooting. We had a very professional crew very dedicated to the project. Lobo (The Wolf)  wants to end the linage of Santeras he started a while ago and now he comes back to finish up his job.

http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/k664w90CID0?rel=0
(This is a horror film. In which the premise is the battle between the forces of good an evil).

The women have no other alternative but to confront him. The film is a thriller, is good against evil. Lobo an Isha, in the Yoruba tradition he is a very powerful force when he gets stirred up. As an actress you are called to play many different characters. You can notice the make up the makeup artists did to make me look tired and older. Of course the acting has also to go in pair with the makeup.  In the film I have to convince the main character to embrace her power to be able to save her daughter.  The film is now in the editing room and will be submitted to festivals very soon. Here  in the blog you can see the trailer.
